Translation
I desire to see You as before, crowned, bearing a mace, with the discus in hand, in Your former form only, having four arms, O thousand-armed, Cosmic Being.
Swami Sivananda
I want to see You just as before, wearing a crown, wielding a mace, and holding a disc in hand. O You with a thousand arms, O You of Cosmic form, appear with that very form with four hands.
Swami Gambirananda
Follows the commentary of Shankara (Advaita).
I wish to see You ever as before, with crown and mace and discus in hand. Assume again that four-armed shape, O Thou the thousand-armed, of Universal Form!
Swami Adidevananda
Follows the commentary of Ramanuja (Vishishtadvaita).
I desire to see You in the same manner, wearing a crown, holding the club and the discus in Your hands; please be with the same form having four hands, O Thousand-armed One! O Universal Form!
Dr. S. Sankaranarayan
Follows the commentary of Abhinavagupta (Kashmir Shaivism).
I long to see Thee as Thou wert before, with the crown, the scepter, and the discus in Thy hands; in Thy other form, with Thy four hands, O Thou whose arms are countless and whose forms are infinite.
Shri Purohit Swami
Swami Ramsukhdas
